Laundry Utilisation Regulations

The laundry hours are 07.00 a.m. – 11.00 p.m.
The students will use the laundry on the basis of a scheduling.
Subject to availability, if free places exist for a day (unscheduled places or students who do not comply with the schedule), they can be taken on a ‘first come, first served’ basis.

All students who are accommodated in the “Tudor Vladimirescu” campus have free access to the laundry facilities that operate on the ground floor of the dormitories.

For utilisation in optimal conditions, please consider the following rules:

  1. Read the user guide of the washing machine and of the dryer before using them. They are available in paper format in each laundry room and in electronic format by means of the displayed QR codes.
  2. Please clean the dryer lint filter after each use!
  3. Students will use their own detergent and conditioner.
  4. Use automatic detergent only! Manual detergent is not meant for automatic laundries and risks breaking them.
  5. Make sure you put each type of detergent you use (capsules, solid detergent, liquid detergent, laundry conditioner) in the proper compartment.
  6. Before washing, check the pockets for small objects: lighters, coins, pieces of paper, etc. These objects risk breaking the machine during the washing cycle.
  7. Washing footwear in the machines is forbidden.
  8. The laundry area is to be treated as such and used to the only purpose of clothes washing.
  9. Keep the area clean!
  10. Consumption of alcoholic beverages and smoking are forbidden.
  11. After each use please leave the key at the reception point!
  12. The laundry area is video monitored. In case of improper use or deterioration of any piece of equipment, damages will be paid by the user. Violations of the mentioned regulations will be sanctioned according to the accommodation contract.

Concluding statements:
The laundry is a common area for all the students of the hall of residence; using it in compliance with the regulations means respecting the others and, implicitly, yourself!
Thank you!
