Utilisation regulations for the shared kitchen area

For utilisation in optimal conditions of the shared kitchen area, please consider the following rules:

  1. The shared kitchen area can be used between 07.00 a.m. – 11.00 p.m.;
  2. Please comply with the technical specifications of the appliances: induction cooktop, electric oven, microwave, fridge, extractor hood;
  3. Please read the user guides of the appliances before using them. They are displayed in paper format in each shared cooking area, and in an electronic format by means of the displayed QR codes;
  4. Do not walk away from the cooking machines while cooking;
  5. After you finished cooking, please clean the appliances you used. Moreover, keep the whole area clean;
  6. In case you have difficulties in using the appliances, please ask for information from the administration of the hall of residence;
  7. When using the microwaves, please use only thermoresistant glass dishes, porcelain dishes (with no metallic rims/paints), with a lid;
  8. Do not leave dirty dishes in the sink or on the worktop;
  9. Do not leave spoiled food in the fridge;
  10. Use adequately the cupboards;
  11. You must not take the appliances or their accessories, the chairs, the tables, the oven tray, etc. out of the shared kitchen area;
  12. You must comply with the purpose of the kitchens: cooking and serving food;
  13. Consumption of alcoholic beverages and smoking are forbidden in the shared kitchen area;
  14. The shared kitchen areas are video monitored. In case of improper use or deterioration of any piece of equipment in the shared kitchen area, damages will be paid by the user. Violations of the mentioned regulations will be sanctioned according to the accommodation contract.

The shared kitchen area is a common area for all the students of the hall of residence; using it in compliance with common sense regulations means respecting the others and, implicitly, yourself!
